Preschool Begins...

Two weeks ago I began Micaiah's preschool program at home. We were going to have him attend the preschool at our church, however, he missed the cut-off date for turning three by just 19 days. That's ok, though, because this momma is excited to put my years as a preschool teacher to use with my own little ones. So far, everything is going well. It has been fun and Micaiah is excited to do "school" every day. Right now I am planning week to week, but I know soon I will need to plan a full month in advance so I won't get behind. Micaiah is a sponge and has been taking in everything we've been doing so far. This week we are focusing on the letter "A". Below is his first preschool art project: A is for Alligator. I love his perspective! Looking forward to the days ahead.

Kensi is FOREVER!

Today, Kensi Grace Keevy became a FOREVER member of our family. We are so thankful for God's blessings. Kensi is full of personality. She is our little independent girl. She loves to giggle, climb and play with her older brother. We love you SO much Kensi. Today was a very good day!

Happy 1st Birthday to my beautiful little girl! This year has gone by quickly and you have grown SO much. Daddy and Mommy love you VERY much.

PS. Some extra good news! We have a finalization date for the adoption in August!!!!!

Termination

Today, we can officially say that parental rights have been terminated.....What does this mean? It means we can finally begin the process to finalize Kensi's adoption in court! We still have to wait at least another 6-8 weeks, but this is still a happy day in the Keevy household. :)

Happy 7 Months Kensi Grace!

Kensi Grace is 7 months old already! Her first two teeth just poked through on the bottom last Saturday. She is eating carrots, yams, peas, avocado and cereal. We tried broccoli last night, but she really didn't care for it. Kensi is learning to sit up, but doesn't have a lot of balance yet...it's coming though! She is also the wiggliest little girl ever. Super hard to keep her sitting still, hence the blurry photos. :)  Happy 7 months baby girl!

Adoption Update

God has perfect timing;

never early,

never late.

It takes a little patience

and a whole lot of faith...

but it's worth the wait!

We love these two babies more than you can ever imagine!!! It's still hard to believe that we've been blessed with two little miracles. We still have a few hurdles to jump through before Kensi's adoption is able to be finalized. Please pray for a smooth process. We know it will all fall into place in God's timing.
