Our 'Lil Button Isn't So Little Anymore

Micaiah's Auntie K calls him her "Lil Button" and just last night she commented that she is going to have to come up with a new nickname cause he isn't so little anymore...And she is right! On Saturday Micaiah turned four months old. ~Wow how time flies!~ Our friend at Victorian Key Photography did his 4-month photo shoot. This one is definitely one of my favorites! His smile is so contagious and really lights up the room!

We went to his 4-month wellness check-up on Monday and have his official stats..........drum roll please...........Micaiah now weighs.........wait for it............. 17.1 lbs and is 26 inches long! This places him in the 90th percentile for both weight and height! Wowzers! We had better start stocking up the pantry now 'cause we have a football player in the house! (or one really tall baseball player. LOL!)       :)  

Looking back at the last few months (and really the last 8 1/2 years) I can only stand in awe when I realize every miracle and detail that God has had fall into place to bring Micaiah into our lives. It's hard to imagine ever living life without Micaiah in our home. Our adoption process continues to move forward a little bit more each day and we continue to have our post study visits with our social worker. We hope to begin the process to finalize the adoption in the near future. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
