Happy 3rd Birthday!

This young man turned three years old a couple of months ago! Wow! Every year I think time is just flying by...and this year has been exactly the same. Yesterday I was reflecting back on the past year, going through all the photos on my phone. Micaiah has changed so much. He has lost much of his baby face look and is getting SO tall now. He is a sponge and takes in everything around him and it's fun to have full conversations with him. He is pretty silly these days and loves to play "hide-n-seek". It's usually a case of hiding his face while his body is completely sticking out, which is hilarious! You know the I can't see you, so you can't see me, right? :) Oh, how I love this little boy! He is the best big brother ever. He loves to play with and 'help' Kensi all the time. Most days, he is a monster, sometimes a lion...literally. He walks/crawls on the floor and growls to everyone he sees. It's a phase that is here to stay for a little while. We have to remind him to be a little boy sometimes. Micaiah loves to climb and jump off of things. Papa and Nana got him a firefighter outfit complete with walkie talkie and he has been excited to run around being a fireman like Papa. His favorite movies right now are Big Hero 6 and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. He likes Baymax and the Taco-dile. We are trying to keep him an outdoors kid, but the pull of movies tries to take over sometimes. It's a daily struggle that we try to keep balanced. We want him to be a little boy, enjoying God's creation and the simple things of life for as long as possible. He has a great imagination and card board boxes are kept around to become houses, cars etc while he plays. He is such a fun little boy.

I love this little boy SO much and am SO blessed to be his Momma!
